"X-Ray Girl"

History
of the artwork
X-Ray Girl is an original oil painting by Luis Pedro Picasso that explores the transparency of the human body from a contemporary perspective inspired by the aesthetics of X-rays.
Through anatomy, the work reveals what normally remains hidden, blurring the boundaries between interior and exterior, surface and depth.
The figure is presented as an exposed body, where what is visible is no longer only the skin, but also the internal structure, generating a tension between vulnerability, knowledge and perception.
Developed over months of work, X-Ray Girl proposes a reflection on the gaze, the exposure and the way we interpret the human body in the contemporary era.
Unique piece.
